We all have days when we feel like, UGH! I have to look at myself, I’m so overweight, I feel so fat etc, etc you’re not the only one. Please know that no matter how much we try to keep up with what society believes is beautiful, we all have imperfections. When we look in the mirror and we see something that we don’t like, those are the moments when we should love ourselves most, those so called imperfections make us real, alive, and grounded in a way that we too can admire beauty in others. Most of us feel that there is something on ourselves that we would change if given the opportunity. But why I ask? our flaws make us unique in our own way.
After all, imagine if we all looked the same. How boring would the world be? We need to learn to embrace ourselves and everything about ourselves. Be gentle and kind to yourself inside and out, be accepting of flaws and know that it is what rests in the depth of your soul that people truly see. It shines and glows, it can be felt, it is what makes you beautiful. Have you ever met a not so “society accepted person, but as you got to know them, you catch of glimpse of their beautiful soul, finding them totally irresistible? This is the secret, you have to work from the inside out.
Truly see the beauty within, this is no cliche, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Girls think positively every day. Look in that mirror and look at yourself, and say “I am so beautiful”. Be thankful that you are alive and stop dwelling on what you think you should be. It is so important that you learn the secrets to feeling comfortable in your own skin. You don’t want to spend the rest of your life not happy. No one else can make you feel great about who you are, as much as you can yourself. Each one of us is a unique individual who deserves to be respected. So realize that you are special and beautiful, who gives a shit about what society says. <3
